People now a days think that they cannot do with one job.So they do one or more jobs at a time.Do you agree or disagree with this practice?

Sample answer:

We are living in the twenty-first-century.The world is moving towards modernization.The winds of development are sweeping everywhere.Of late,people's life style has undergone a considerable change.I agree with the statement up to come extent that people cannot do without two or more jobs to maintain the higher living standard.

To cope with the rise in the prices of essential articles and to maintain better life style people have to increase their income.They often opt for two or more part-time jobs for earning more.Moreover the prices of essential requirements are rising sky high and it is very difficult for a normal person to make both ends meet.Commercialization of education and medical facilities force a person to think for more income.

Job security is another reason which comples people to think for second job.Now a days,government jobs are limited and people usually work in private sector,where chances of job security are rare.To mitigate the risk of job security,people try to keep two or more jobs in hand.

In modern era,there are many people who are professionaly and technicslly qualified.They usually try to encash their skills upto the optimum level.So they do more than one job even at far flung places.

There is also another side of the coin.Too much work makes us tired and we are left with hardly anytime for our family.
To have a tension free life,we should also devote some time to our family rather than be busy in jobs day and night.

2. Writing task 2:

Writing about the following topic:

During the last quarter of a century we see population explosion which has resuited in over-explosion of natural resourses.Which natural resource,according to you,is going to disappear in the near future?Why?what can be done in this respect?

Sample answer:

Since time immemorial,man has been using and misusing natural resources like air,water,plants,minerals etc.He has taken water for granted,by and large,a free commodity.The rate which water is being consumed,sooner or later the entire stock of water will be exhausted.We have been misusing this rare natural sources recklessly.


Water crisis is going to deepen in the future.The murky rivers are polluted by toxic chemical compounds and the giant loss of badly needed irrigation water is due to leaking pipes,canals and other reservoirs.Drinking water is becoming rare these days.It would not be wrong to say that in the coming years wars will be fought not for land or gold but for water.

To save water,I propose that a water tariff and a steeply progressive water tariff be imposed to face the situation arising from the depletion of his natural resource.This water tariff would be like a penalty designed to make the wasters pay for waste and the polluters for pollution.

We all must brood over the problem of water scarcity.We together have to determine the ways to conserve water and look for possible ways to achieve water security.We all must adopt the methods of rainwater harvesting.We have to learn to use water in a disciplined way.Nature is the greatest teacher.If we can wake up shake off our foolishness,it will be better otherwise nature will teach us a lesson which will be hard to learn and digest.
